A local event, for local people

We have every central government department represented in our current registered attendees and speakers - but we also have a terrific line-up of experts from some of the UK's most innovative local authorities - including the following new speaker announcements:

Sarah Williams - WestminsterSarah Williams, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Westminster City Council - who brings a wealth of experience in transforming public services to be more user-centric and efficient.

James Partis, Assistant Chief Executive & Chief Transformation Officer at the London Borough of Newham - known for his strategic vision and leadership in driving digital transformation within local government.

Sam OlsenSam Olsen, Director of Innovation & Change at Richmond and Wandsworth Council - she has been instrumental in implementing innovative solutions to improve public services and enhance community engagement.

Peter Lloyd, Director of Digital Services at Lancashire County Council - his expertise in digital transformation has been pivotal in modernising council services and improving accessibility for residents.

The Budget

We called the election date, and we nailed the Budget timing too – now confirmed for 30th October, providing the ideal backdrop for Government Transformation Week the following week.

As President Biden once said, "Show me your budget, and I'll tell you your priorities." It is only in November, following the Budget, that the Civil Service, local government, and the wider public sector will truly know their priorities and the resources available to address them.
