Just over a hundred deserving public sector executives were recognised last week as part of the Government Transformation 100 - which celebrates "the leaders and rising stars driving change and innovation across the public sector".
With a record number of nominations, this year's winners represented the top 7 per cent of
Ed Tillotson, Managing Director of Government Transformation Magazine, and David Wilde, co-founder, oversaw the ceremonies during Government Transformation Week.
In introducing the winners, Tillotson remarked that much of the work of public service was not known outside of individual departments, let alone the wider public - and that these awards were therefore an opportunity to celebrate the work of individuals and their teams.
"These awards are about celebrating your hard work, and recognising the need to support collaboration within, across and beyond government if we're to address the many pressing issues facing the UK public sector," he said. "You deserve a moment to reflect, and connect with your peers - and we hope your example will inspire others, creating positive change across government and the NHS."
The winners were judged in five categories:
Camilla Barnard, Data Officer, Lewes & Eastbourne Councils
