Mike Hoare
Mike Hoare is the Chief Digital Officer for the Public Sector at Fujitsu and has over 25 years of industry experience gained in a number of diverse roles from software developer to managing complex change programmes, large-scale outsourcing contracts and digital transformations within and outside of the UK. He is currently responsible for supporting pan-government accounts, understanding the significant business challenges departments now face, and anticipating their impact not only on the ‘citizen experience' but also at an inter- and cross-departmental level; by driving user-centric design and transformation Mike aims to provide simple, intuitive, business focussed solutions that reduce the complexity of interaction with and between government services. Prior to his current role, Mike was the Chief Digital Officer within Fujitsu’s HMRC Business Unit and he also has extensive experience working across both the Public and Private sectors in areas such as Defence & National Security and as well as currently being a non-executive director for a Birmingham based NHS Trust.
